The club

Criciúma Esporte Clube is the most successful team from Santa Catarina, in the south of Brazil: winners of the 1991 Copa do Brasil, and champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B in 2002 and Série C in 2006.

A club's website does several jobs at once. On a match day it is a fixture list and a ticket office; the rest of the week it is the club's newsroom, its shop window and the place supporters become members.

What I did

I worked on the project from the UX through to the front end of the site, desktop and mobile, at Neuro Digital.

The pages

The home page is built around the next match: a countdown to kick-off, the opponent and the venue, with the way into tickets beside it. Below it, the news, the fixtures and the league table share the first screen of scrolling, then the squad, the official shop (Tigre Maníacos) and the club's titles.

Membership has a page of its own. Sócio Tigrão sets out fourteen reasons to join, then the 2017 plans side by side, so the difference between them reads at a glance — followed by the box, family and company plans and the sign-up form.

  • 01 Home
  • 02 Sócio Tigrão
  • 03 Player
  • 04 TV Tigre
  • 05 Competitions
  • 06 Clube Carvoeiro

Every player has a profile page with his numbers for the season, his titles and the clubs he has played for, and the news that mentions him. TV Tigre gathers the club's videos, and Competitions lists fixtures and results for each tournament beside its table.
